"being right and making solid decisions backed by thorough analysis"
In the summer of 2006 Nik started working for an independent investment manager. His tasks were centered around the research of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, world economies, currencies, and anything else related to investments. This experience was priceless and made possible by the principal of the firm, who has been managing money and investments for decades.

Nik learned a lot thanks to his new position. In December of 2006 he decided to apply what he had learned to his own trading account. Initially he only traded stocks, and could only go long but slowly built up his portfolio so he could start trading options and shorting stocks. In the process he has refined his trading style and learned a lot of lessons along the way.

Nik's trading style is based off fundamental analysis. This style attempts of understand every aspect of a business and measure it's model against the current business environment. An investment decision is made only after a full fundamental analysis is done. A fundamental analysis includes using different models to calculate a valuation for the stock and also a common sense look at the business.

Nik's passion for trading and investment exceeds anything he's ever done in his life. For him, it's not so much about the money but about being right and making solid decisions backed by through analysis.

Of course, making money is important but getting the right information out there is also.

In his two years of trading Nik has used to his style to take little amounts of money and turn them in to something substaintial.

Onto the important stuff! Blog
