I’ve come to another set of musical chairs set on top of the cross roads…weird predicament. But since when is making the right business choice ever transparent? the answer should be NEVER. So I was planning to implement the same stock trading strategy that reaped me my first small fortune (2007) back into play. Unfortunately I purchased both option contracts and common stock in a dry bulk shipping company named DRYSHIP. Long story short, the past week I’ve lost close to 25% of my capital already, are you *bleeping kidding me??? (options expiring and bought stock on margin aka borrowed 100% leverage).
I’ve made a big decision to subside from active trading until I have one of two things take place. 1) bring my real estate business to the forefront with the pipelines set and running or 2) I have a steady form of income coming to me monthly (probably won’t happen being an independent contractor). Point blank, bottom line I’m building a real estate business and bullybank.com why the fuck am I risking my money in the market?? If I make a couple bad investment choices I could be set back another 6 months if not longer! is that worth it? only to achieve some capital appreciation that is NOT guaranteed? NO. But don’t get it twisted, trading stocks will forever be in me, but right now it’s about strategic moves…one objective at a time. **NIK YOU’RE GOING TO HAVE TO HOLD IT DOWN BROTHER! lol temporarily
I like all the ins and outs that come with creating something from nothing more or less in the form of a business. Not so much just numbers, odds and a click of a buy/sell button. This is a harsh reality but one I’ve come to terms with. I’m yanking another $1,000 from my trading account and hopefully the money will reflect in our new website (2.0). ****SHAMELESS PLUG, for your real estate service need, I now will be able to run credit reports for tenant screenings for just $18 per applicant and if you know someone that is in need of property management email me at: info@thebayishome.com
Got some stuff brewing, and I don’t mean coffee… later guys.
